HOW IT ALL began

A number of years ago I began to notice that Christian bumper stickers often didn't have anything compelling to say. On the one hand there is nothing wrong with having a fish or a cross on your car or a family knelt at a cross, but after seeing thousands of cars over the years I noticed that often these bumper stickers only succeed in letting me know that the driver of the car is likely a Christian, but they often fail to communicate much to the unbeliever stopped behind you at the red light.

One day I thought to myself "someone needs to change this. Why can't there be potent gospel messages on these bumper stickers?" I even started searching the internet for Christian bumper stickers trying to find ones that were compelling and ones that would challenge those who read them. What I found is that the average "Christian bumper sticker" was more of a decoration for our car than a provoking gospel message.

Over the course of the next couple years I began to simply compile a list of verses that I thought may be powerful on a bumper sticker. I again thought to myself "why does it feel like the only verse we share with an unbeliever on a bumper sticker John 3:16 when the Bible is chock full of potent phrases and verses about God, His nature, and salvation that we are not sharing with the lost world around us?"

All of this began to come together when I started to play around with designing them and matching both the potency of the verses I selected with riveting questions that would draw the reader into the conversation. I wanted to design the bumper stickers not for aesthetic beauty where the message is lost in some fancy font, but instead I designed the style with readability being the number one goal.

I am now ready to share my designs with the world and invite believers to pick a message that they want to share with the world and start sharing the gospel at 70 MPH.
